GranFondo Los Angeles Makes a Move
A GranFondo start originating on the iconic Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills brought much glamour and hype to the inaugural GranFondo Los Angeles event in 2011. Through careful review of rider feedback and safety concerns faced on a heavily congested Wilshire Boulevard, the event has been moved to the serene setting offered at Saddlerock Ranch at Malibu Family Wines. The beautiful setting within the vineyard offers a pristine backdrop to start and end the ride and is perfectly suited to host friends, family and guests who will attend to support their favorite rider.
With the location change is also a date change to Sunday, July 15.

Oceans apart, GranFondo World launches the international cycling series in San Diego USA and Saint Tropez with presenting sponsor Cannondale
On a pristine, sunny San Diego morning, nearly 1,400 riders lined the streets of downtown Little Italy in anticipation of the fourth annual GranFondo Cannondale San Diego experience.
Entertained by returning emcee Bruce Hildebrand and Samuel Nehemiah of the Challenged Athletes Foundation singing the National Anthem, riders gathered all smiles before the official start at 7:15 AM. The fashionable Ferarri’s belonging to Little Italy’s own restaurateur Joseph Busalacchi and the Fiat Gucci of Kearny Mesa Fiat sent a surge of energy through the crowd as the engines revved.

GranFondo Cannondale San Diego launches America’s Original GranFondo Series of 2012
In its fourth edition, San Diego’s vibrant charm greets cyclists from more than 20 states and five countries.
The stage is set and the fourth edition of GranFondo Cannondale San Diego is about to paint the streets of downtown Little Italy with the finest of bikes, colorful jerseys and thousands of avid cyclists about to embark on a 60 or 108 mile pursuit throughout scenic San Diego.
"We're proud our Little Italy community can serve as an Internationally-recognized site for GranFondo," said Steve Galasso, president of Little Italy Association. "We welcome the participating cyclists and spectators to Little Italy. Enjoy our food, sights, and all -- we'll be there to cheer you on at the starting line, under our landmark Little Italy sign on India Street!"

GranFondo World series opening season with GranFondo Cannondale St Tropez!
This week end will be a really special one for the GranFondo World series with 2 events in the same day but with more than 10.000 kilometers difference in 2 worldwide very known destination St Tropez in France and San Diego in California but due to time zone, GranFondo Cannondale St Tropez will be effectively the first one.
We show you some pictures from the expo village where our series partner Cannondale is here to present his different models and distribute to each participant his bike jersey.
This year race attracts more than 1.000 participants who will start at 7:00am from very famous port de St Tropez with 14 different nationalities, 7 to 10% women and 70% over 40 years old riders.
3 different races are proposed to the riders with 179k, 136k and 59k throughtout incredible landscape form St Tropez region with a finish in Gassin “One of the most beautiful village of France” after climbing the Col du Canadel and the Col du Babaou.

GranFondo USA unveils custom 2012 jersey design
A favorite in all GranFondo USA SWAG bags is the custom limited edition cycling jersey. All 2012 GranFondo USA riders will receive the official jersey featuring the new series logo and presenting sponsor, Cannondale. Jerseys are available in men’s and women’s sizes. See the sizing chart here.
GranFondo Cannondale San Diego riders will be among the first to receive the jersey starting April 14 during packet pick-up.
